Our privacy policy (“policy”) is designed to help you understand how we collect, use and protect the information you have provided to us and to help you make informed decisions when using our service.

By visiting, downloading or interacting with the site, you are subject to this policy. If material changes are made to this privacy policy, we will notify you by posting the revised privacy policy on the website or by notifying you through the website and / or email. ANY ACCESS OR USE OF YOUR WEBSITE AFTER THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE CHANGES CONSTITUTE, AND IS SUPPORTED BY, YOUR AGREEMENT TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. Accordingly, we encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy and the Website in order to stay abreast of our current privacy practices. If you do not agree to our privacy practices described below, please do not use this website. Please read this policy carefully, especially before providing any personal information or submissions.

1. information We Collect

a) Personally identifiable information.. Personally identifiable information (“PII”) is information that can be used to identify you, such as your first and last name, email address, physical address, telephone number, etc. data about you that you choose to provide to us, such as contact email addresses and profile information. If you give us an email address, we may send you promotional messages from time to time; We will try to make them attractive and interesting, but of course you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link that is in the email, or contacting us via any method provided by us.

b) Aggregate Information (Non-Personally Identifiable Information).. OTg may, from time to time, automatically collect aggregate information about our visitors, from our advertisers, sponsors, promotional partners and affiliates. This aggregate information includes, but is not limited to, IP addresses connecting to our site, the number of people who have visited a particular page or activity, the dates and times when images were downloaded, device characteristics, the system operating mode, browser type, connection type, page, etc. image display statistics, and inbound and outbound links.

Like most websites, we use log files to store this information. None of this automatically collected technical information is associated with an individual identified at the time of collection, but it could be associated with you in two circumstances: first, if you choose to provide us with personal data about yourself as described above, the technical information we collect that would otherwise be anonymous might instead be recorded as coming from you. Second, if we are required to disclose our server logs as a result of a subpoena or other legal process, a third party, such as your internet service provider, could match our anonymous technical information with you, using information other than that found on our servers.

c) Comments.. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

d) Media.. We may not collect them but, if you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

e) Cookies.. OTg may use cookies, web beacons, robots, or other anonymous tracking information to improve our server’s interaction with your computer. We may also work with third party advertisers who may (themselves or through their partners) place or recognize a site. unique cookie on your browser. These cookies allow us to offer you more personalized ads, content or services. To trigger these cookies, we may transmit an encrypted or “hashed” (non-human readable) identifier corresponding to your email address to a web advertising partner, who may place a cookie on your computer. No personally identifiable information is on, or linked to, these cookies. Although our servers do not currently respond to “do not track” requests (see below), you can block these cookies in a number of ways, for example by searching for “[your browser] + disable cookies.” Depending on your interaction with our website, one of all of the following will happen:

  • If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
  • If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
  • If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

f) Do Not Track.. “Do Not Track” is a preference that can be set in your browser so that the websites you visit know that you do not want them to collect certain information about you. OTg does not currently respond to or honor your browser “Do Not Track” signals or requests.

2. Use of Information and Disclosure

a) Our use of your information.. To enjoy the full experience offered by our site (i.e. “users only” deals, better support, site exclusives), you must first create an account with a username and password. The registration system requires the use of a valid email address to confirm the account. Other personal information may be required, depending on the type of interaction and/or existing relationship between you, the company and its website. As you interact with us and/or our site, please keep in mind that: 

  • If you change your account information, OTg’s stored data backups may include your original information. If you email us, a record of addresses and correspondence will continue to exist. We record this information so that we can respond to you and keep a record of this correspondence for a better and personalized assistance.
  • If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
  • If you register on our website, we will also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

b) The disclosure of your information.. OTg will never share, sell, rent or lease PII to unaffiliated third parties, except in the following cases:

    1. If we believe in good faith that we need to disclose this information for legal reasons, such as enforcing our Terms of Service, protecting or defending the rights, property interests or personal safety of the company (including its employees, directors, suppliers, distributors, service providers, website users or others), or if we are required to disclose this information by law. We will only disclose information to the extent necessary to comply with the purpose of the request.
    2. We may share aggregate, anonymous or synthetic information about our customers and their behaviors with partners, advertisers or other third parties. This data is not personal information and therefore will not identify you personally. We may share information with companies that provide support services to us, such as printer, courier agency, order fulfillment company, credit card processor, courier service provider or a web host, among others. These parties may need personal information about you in order to perform their functions. However, these parties may not use the personal information that we share with you for any purpose other than that related to performing support functions for us.

3. You Rights Over Your Data

a) General.. If and when we send a promotional communication to a user, that user may opt out of receiving further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional email, or by contacting us via any other means provided by us. You have the right at any time to prevent us from contacting you for marketing purposes. Please note that notwithstanding any promotional preferences you indicate by unsubscribing or otherwise opting out, we may continue to send you administrative emails including, for example, periodic updates to our privacy policy.

Furthermore, you have the right to request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us, at any time. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

b) Californian Online Privacy Act (CALOPPA).. CALOPPA requires that all commercial websites and online services accessible to California Residences clearly display a privacy policy. By CalOPPA, we agree to the following:

  • Users can visit our site anonymously.
  • Users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on our Privacy Policy page.
  • Users can change their personal information by editing their profile.

c) Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).. OTg does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If you are under thirteen (13) years of age, you must not provide us with any personally identifiable information. If we learn that we have collected information or content from anyone under the age of thirteen (13), we will delete it immediately.

4. Additional Information

a) Protection of your information.. OTg has implemented certain physical, administrative and technical security measures to protect against the loss, misuse or modification of the information you provide. However, please keep in mind that no data transmission over the Internet can be 100% secure. Therefore, OTg cannot guarantee that your information will be perfectly secure in transit. Any transmission of data is at your own risk. You should take security measures to prevent unauthorized access to your information, including limiting access to your computer or mobile device.

In case of any security breaches, OTg will notify all affected users, using the most current contact information on file, to provide further details on the matter. All applicable legal actions will occur thereafter.

b) Sharing of information with partners.. As noted above, we may collect and provide aggregate information about our visitors to our advertisers, sponsors, promotional partners and affiliates. We use third party advertising companies to serve online advertising. These companies facilitate ad serving, conduct market research, and use cookies for record keeping. These cookies sometimes allow businesses to serve you ads tailored to your interests based on your past web activity. This is generally known as behavioral advertising. For example, this means that if you frequently read movie reviews online, you may see ads on other websites related to upcoming movies. Online advertising companies generally perform this activity in an anonymous format, online information is not combined with information that can identify you.

c) Links to third-party websites and embedded content.. OTg may, from time to time, contain links to other sites. Articles on this site  may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices used by those sites, or the information or content they contain. We encourage our users to be aware of this fact when they leave our official website, and to read the privacy statements of any website that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy policy applies only to information collected by OTg through our site and does not apply to linked third party websites.

d) Automated decision making and/or profiling with user data.. We may, from time to time, review and/or make changes to our services, website, brand or company as a whole, based on our users interaction with us. This is so that the experience and services we offer stay relevant to our always growing community. The decision making process will not be based on a single user, but rather all.

e) Anti-spam Policy.. OTg is 100% against unsolicited commercial e-mail (“spam”). We do not wish to send unsolicited marketing emails to anyone without authorization, and we do not sell or provide users’ email addresses to unauthorized third parties in violation of this policy. All of our newsletters and other general email communications include an unsubscribe link that you can use to ask us to stop sending you marketing emails.

f) Updates to our Privacy Policy.. We may periodically modify or update this policy. We will notify users of any material changes to this policy by posting the modified information here. We may also do so via email. We encourage you to periodically review our privacy policy to stay informed about how we are protecting the personal information we collect. Your continued use of the OTg website constitutes your acceptance of this privacy policy and any future updates.
